Since 2023, Westside LTRG has collaborated with local and national volunteer organizations to remove flood-damaged items and drywall from affected basements and complete mold treatment.
The City of Chicago’s Department of Housing has allocated funding for a Flood Assistance and Repair Program (FARP) to complete flood recovery in basements of qualifying homeowners. Westside LTRG and Westside Health Authority have been selected to lead this process in up to 120 homes on the West Side.
